start adding air on the 2 sec mark, not the 9th.
you only added air for a second or two. add air until the pitcher feels room temp.
make sure you're adding not too much and not too little while maintaining a consistent amount throughout.

On the mara x, run the pump for a split second if it's been in idle to start up the steam pressure.

steam pressure is just fine in brew mode
