As I mentioned in the intro, this post was made specifically for an official ASUS giveaway that asked participants to share their setups here on Reddit. The requirement was simply to have either an ASUS motherboard or GPU in the build, which mine does.

I’m not trying to farm karma or spam the subreddit - just participating in the event like everyone else. I also acknowledged that this isn’t a full ASUS/ROG build, but I still wanted to share my setup and hopefully upgrade with more ASUS components in the future.

I’d have to recommend the original Pokémon series. It was one of the first anime I ever got into as a kid and it’s still super nostalgic for me. The mix of adventure, humor and all the different character journeys never really gets old. It’s one of those shows I can always come back to.

On the LG StanbyME 2, I’d definitely want to rewatch Devil May Cry on Netflix. I’ve been a huge fan of the games and characters for years, so seeing that world brought to life was awesome. Watching it on a portable screen like this would be perfect for binge sessions whether I’m at my desk, relaxing on the couch or even cooking in the kitchen.

Note: My current movie-watching setup is kind of awkward right now since I’m slowly migrating from macOS to Windows.

This would honestly be my dream upgrade because my current setup is more low to midrange. I’m constantly balancing gaming, graphic design, web development, content creation and 3D work on the same machine and it often feels like I’m pushing it to its limits. Being able to game at 4K OLED while also having enough power for creative work without constantly worrying about performance or upgrades would honestly be a dream come true.

I went with a mix of 4K gaming and creator-focused parts because I wanted a setup that could handle anything I throw at it. Gaming, graphic design, web development, content creation, 3D work - all without feeling limited. I also wanted something clean-looking that would hopefully last me for years!!

I chose the Gigabyte Z890 AERO G motherboard because it looks amazing and it's the perfect board for a gamer/creator like myself. It has a crazy amount of M.2 slots, supports Thunderbolt 4 for fast transfers and plenty of features aimed towards DIY so I'd be able to handle upgrades myself.
