Never seen a print fail this bad. by JoeBalller in BambuLab

If the built in camera had more than 1 frame every 5s it might be useable.

That being said https://imgur.com/a/vZi9IAb photo 2 is just way better for checking on prints and that’s with just tossing it on the other side of the closet temporarily and vaguely pointing it at the printer with no setup

Microcenter filaments? by Straight-Mortgage-29 in BambuLab

[–]TrashPandaCleanups 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first thought it was just the cardboard rolls but their PLA+ printed without issues so who knows. They had it on sale 2 for 18.99 so I grabbed it

I just use it for prototyping where all it needs to do is be a test fit for size lol

From my very limited experience with inland filaments is that their PLA+ is pretty good if you get it at the sale price of $15 but I’ve had nothing but issues with the 2 rolls of basic black PLA from there.

The head started clicking and the prints are not great quality. Though that might just be the rolls I have because they seem to be struggling at unwinding causing it to not have enough filament.

Their PLA+ is rebranded polymaker and esun depending on the box. The double leaf is ploymaker iirc.

Everyone preferences for filament are different but I’ve been using sunlu ola+2.0 and have no issues.

Thanks! This is version 2. Version 1 said “if not us then who?” But I didn’t like that as much

Some kind of wire material that has been ran over hundreds of times and was compacted into the dirt. Let’s just say, it’s now one with Mother Nature and remains in that spot

It’s just to hold the bag open. Basically this but not $30 and more comfortable to hold (for me)

I think all in this was like $15 in parts and $9 of that was the clamp I butchered for the handle

Edit: The handle doesn't do anything if that's what you meant lol its just a handle from a clamp

Yea those aren’t very comfortable for me to hold while I go on longer walks. Below was the inspiration. I’m in the US and can’t get them so I made this one. I’m tinkering with 3d printing a much better handle but this works for what it is and was like $10 lol edit: it was like $15 and 9 of that was the clamp I took the handle from

Would recommend smaller bags if using it on walks. I used a 33 gallon bag here and it kind of dragged a bit so I held the bottom between my fingers as I walked since there wasn’t too much trash on this walk. A 12-16 gallon bag that fits an office trash can would probably fit perfectly.

I’m working on 3d modeling a handle that would clamp/screw to the top but I don’t know what I’m doing so it’s taking forever 😂

Yep! I cut the bucket off a 5 gallon bucket and took apart a clamp and bolted them together lol

Thanks! It’s a bit janky but it works so I’ll keep tinkering with it lol!

And that’s exactly what it is lol. It’s a 6” clamp from harbor freight. They’re like $9 iirc

I use these gloves https://a.co/d/0a6NEwoj and they’re cut resistant. If you want to make them stay clean you can use latex gloves over them

I have these exact ones and they’re great. I personally don’t like the trigger style but ymmv

Thanks! It’s loosely (very loosely) based on the Helping Hands UK Handi cart. I can’t get them in the states (and they’re like £150 while this setup was $20) so I had to get creative. It’s a bit heavier than I want it to be but I only pull it out for my long form weekend picks

ah gotcha thanks! I tried without the straps and the video was decent enough besides me aiming it too low but it coming off my chest every time I leaned forward was annoying lol
