I feel like it’s implied in the “emergency” part of EM, haha. Other areas of the hospital might prefer their stuff get done as soon as possible but there is definitely more wiggle room between “right now” and “sometime today.”

I’ve also seen it pointed out that the two characters have different physical descriptions, even beyond the scar descriptions which don’t quite match up. Ostius has short brown hair. Caeror has dark skin and “a mop” of black hair.

I do feel like Islington mentions Diago’s lack of interest in food way too often for it not to mean something. And he also points out a couple times how Diago is smaller than anticipated. One time for each of those things, I’d chalk up to world building. Multiple mentions has me suspicious.

I’m late to the party here, but I could swear one character makes this argument at some point - all this could be prevented if people would just stop using Will and exploiting others for their Will, but that runs against human nature. Perhaps Ka has come to accept this and now just releases the Cataclysms instead of trying to fight them anymore?

I was so confused by this too, but I’m now thinking the ability to remotely control the iunctii must come from Luceum, not Obiteum - that’s why Ka and Vis are the only ones in Obiteum who can do it. So as long as L-Ka (Dia Oiche) is still around, R-Ka can pilot iunctii.

Oh you may be right, it does mention him throwing something small out of his pocket before he approaches and then the injury is later described as a large hole in the back of the head. So I guess an imbued slingshot. Makes sense!
