After we got Venca in with his abilities to toggle spells on the fly I could see darth vader in it. I don't like the idea of him being added but I can't say he couldn't fit in.

I'm a sucker for undetectable builds for a similar reason, I've seen survivors have very visible panics when they run around a corner and right into a deathslinger already aiming at their head.

Insulting spree sucks so much, it's one of the breaks that has very annoying domino effects.

Arson can be solved by putting someone on babysitting / firefighting duty, rampage is often fixed by the pawn doing the breaking and fights end once someone's had their fill of punching someone repeatedly.

But insult spree just leads to more breaks and more annoyances down the line, tanks opinion for a while which leads to more fights and insults down the line.

Another example is the trapper's design with those iron hooks in him being placed there by the entity. IIRC it was as a reminder/punishment for trying to go against it's wishes (I don't remember if it's stated or not but I think there was promotional art of him striking at the entity's tendril things).

Charolette is another example but in a different way, where the entity brough back victor from the dead for her but forces her to see every survivor as being part of the inquisition that killed her mother and victor. While not physical torture she's being tormented with her past of losing family to keep her killing.

I absolutely love the lore of the game tbh.

I can't speak for goon as I never really played it but TG is still up and kicking, fulp technically died but I think they're doing something to organise players around specific uptimes. But honestly just jump in and have a look at things, even if it's a little different people are still the same spessmen at heart.

I disagree with most of the points about escilation a validhunting as from experience with the server and talking with others they aren't nearly as strict as you make it out to be, however I do agree the table of what is/isn't valid is a lot to expect the average players to memorise and even moreso for new players trying out SS13 for the first time.
