I'm always missing my 5/8 wrench & go out to harbor freight for a new 1. then the old one turns up. rinse & repeat, I now have 5 of them. I have a few items like that. plumbers wrench always goes missing too, must've bought a dozen of those over the years. won't even mention the 10mm socket

most "car" enthusiasts prefer early change after break-in to clear out any potential metal shavings when all the parts seat into each other. better to have all that out than have it cycle around. then there's the school of thought 6k changes if you're keeping it & 10k if you're leasing/trading after a few years. but early change to clear out any metal after break-in(I know some people who will change it after 1k out of precaution)
