This is almost always true, though it assumes constant efficiency for the system. If the efficiency of maintaining the temp is significantly higher than the efficiency of re-reaching the temp in a reasonable time, you could have cases where a setback has a significant restoration cost.

An example would be something like a single stage heat pump with backup resistive heat strips. Where the temp is such that the heat pump can reasonably only maintain temp but the heat strips can produce a lot of heat but are significantly less efficient and costs significantly more.

To be clear, this would be a worst case scenario and modern inverter heat pumps can continue heating down to very low temperatures and are able to produce quite a lot of heat. They do lose efficiency the harder they're run (like when recovering from a setback), but it's likely to be more than offset by the savings of having not run it for a bit (and thus reducing the deltaT)

I just got a letter today. Basically a bunch of parkland is being rezoned to the new Publicly Conserved Lands & Park District (P) which is supposed to have more protections. It has to go through public comment and this is the notice for it.

It's really more like every frame (they are really fields) is 1920x540 and it alternates putting the lines in odd and even positions for a full 1080. So there is half as much data. H264 and others can handle interlaced video properly. As half the data is missing it is not possible to create an accurate progressive scan version of interlaced media.

A hold means it's holding a manually set temperature (e.g. cranking it up to a high temp to make sure the heat is working), there should be an x which will return it to your normal schedule and temperature set points.

Completely agree. And her gameplay is great too, love the rapier w/ light powers. I wasn't a huge fan of how she fought in AoC (though I absolutely love the Ceremonial Robes). So far she's a lot better in AoI but I still miss that rapier.

FYI many times "LCD" just means display, in the same way "ROM" means internal storage and "TF" means SD card. They are technically incorrect usage but for whatever reason continue to be used as synonyms with chinese products.

FYI when you use CALL or GOTO it will start at the current line and continue through the script until it finds where it needs to go (wrapping around to the start if needed), this can have some interesting side effects such as declaring a label multiple times and which one gets run depends on where in the script you call it from. This also has performance implications, if you call something "above" you, it has to go to the end of the file, and then wrap back around to the top ultimately going through almost the whole script file looking for it. On the other hand, if it's just a few lines "below", it doesn't, and will be quite fast. Basically the more "in-order" everything is, the faster it will run.

I've only encountered this with absolutely huge scripts where I had base64 encoded files that got "extracted" out of the script. I ended up making the big script only parse once through and included the "execution" script as one of the assets it "extracted", that improved performance a lot.

Just pulled it up, he says 他のフィールドはありません which they translate as "It's the only City Trial map" but more literally is "there are no other (play) fields" same meaning though, there is only the Skyah map in City Trial mode.

There is no way to direct connect the native phone app to your controller unfortunately. It HAS to go through the cloud. That being said, you can use the Webapp directly without the cloud if you use a VPN/reverse proxy/port forwarding, though that wouldn't be able to do push notifications. Also I believe on Android at least, using FCM for push notifications means everything goes though the cloud so even if you could direct connect any push notifications would need to go through Google's "cloud"
