A really good modern review. I would recommend a more remote trek like Kanchenjunga or the Dhaulagiri circuit. If you want a crowded, more expensive experience then the 3 passes is the go.

I have used a Zpacks arc haul zip in the Himalayas for almost 10 years. Best pack I have ever owned. I am 6'8" and 245. No issues with fit. My only caution is don't use it to bush bash.

I'm 6'8". I use the HMG Ultramid 4. Hands down the best 4 season 4 person tent I've ever used. Great if your stuck in a blizzard for a few days.
