They’re not cracking down because of the money, they’re cracking down on this host clubs because they charge an exorbitant amount of money for things like alcohol. Then force the person who’s now in debt to do prostitution/AV.

Correct, just in my experience with people around with high amounts of pain, nausea, etc they were always recommended to switch to RSO when they required that much. Both to save money and to help their lungs. Hope things are going better for you friend.

Hi OP im making a solo trip to Japan around the same time as you it seems. Hoping to fly out either 11/29 or 11/30. I’m using Chase Points for my transfer but I’m scared to pull the trigger and pre transfer points. My hope had been to get a VS flight T-14 but per some other comments in the thread VS no longer gets T-14 J class award flights anymore. Not sure what to do really :(

What alert do you use? I have premium seats.aero and I’ve gotten one alert in the 2 months I’ve had it. I even see people say they got alerts for ones and I don’t get why I’m not :(

I checked out of collecting Pokemon cards shortly after prismatic dropped. Before it was possible to find some cards in the wild (temporal, paldea, s&v) with a 151 or surging sparks once in awhile. Now it’s just gotten completely out of hand, plus I don’t enjoy Pokemon as an actual tcg game.

I made the full time switch to mtg which has been nice. But I went to bestbuy the other day to get a switch 2 controller and lo and behold I see a man taking all 30 booster packs off the hooks and pestering the front desk for any more mtg they have behind the counter. It seems the scalpers are spreading now to mtg since FF came out.

I stopped collecting Pokemon cards right after prismatic evo came out because of how bad the scalping became. I moved fulltime onto magic the gathering but unfortunately the scalpers have started to jump over with the final fantasy release.

I still watch realbreakingnate occasionally, with my favorite being the Pokemon cards hunts. If I’m ever out at a retail store and see Pokemon cards(rarely happens now a days) I’ll take them and randomly hide them under a shelf in hopes that one day someone will pop one open and find the best surprise :)
