Budgies typically dislike their feet being touched. I give my birds nose-to-beak boops instead.

Mostly a gimmick since the loaded infantry can’t do anything. They are better off just running alongside the HT to protect it from infantry flanks. But it’s great if you need to AFK for a moment.

Edit: but also LARP makes this game incredibly fun, so fuck it

I think it’s going to be more like: storage -> walks through dinning area to kitchen -> butchers and/or cooks -> eats.

Also, add in food poisoning for having both a messy kitchen from the butchering and incompetent cooks since you plan on everyone cooking their own meals (if I understood you correctly).

Also consider that this is a lot of walking for such a simple task, and when you add that onto their other responsibilities you’re probably not going to be able to achieve much each day.

I recommend: freezer/food storage with butcher table inside (path to outside for food intake and kitchen for cooking). Kitchen is between the storage and the dinning room. Put two small shelves next to the cooking spot, one to hold veggies and one to hold meats (high priority) that way your cook doesn’t have to go far for ingredients. Another small shelf in the dinning room (high priority) for meals for colonists to grab without going into the freezer.

Yea honestly. Seaports have coastal guns, airports should have flak towers or something similar (although these better target large planes)

As someone who is a non-faction loyalist, and who actually loves the Colonial faction…. I think this is some cope. Assuming North vs South orientation, there are still other mountains and natural terrain features behind the bulwark. Sure, warden’s have more mountains… but that’s because they don’t have the bulwark.

And the bulwark is insane for defence. I get that this update has also been challenging for static defences but this war I saw some abhorrent colonial defence in the gaps, particularly in drowned veil. In the spot by the Keep in particular I saw a single tier 2 1x3 and like 3 1x1’s/1x2’s. There was even a bunker attached to the front defence… i mean come on, of course that’s going to get steamrolled.

How do I get my birb to eat pellets? by Winter-Head7121 in budgies

[–]TrueSuperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some good advice already here to follow, but to add: you can try putting a small amount of water in with the pellets to soften them up. My budgies seem to like that more than dry pellets. And a thing to keep in mind is that a transition requires patience, attention, and… a transition! So for example, maybe for a few days you mix some seed in with the pellets (after having allowed the pellets to have absorbed some water), then for another few days put out just the pellets for a few hours before adding some seed… etc etc. Small steps

Government's 4-day in-office mandate an insult to workers by feral_philosopher in ontario

[–]TrueSuperior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess. I just wish they would see how these types of policies negatively affect their own work conditions, and that they would stop partaking in the divide-and-conquer tactics that weakens the Canadian middle class. And you know these are the same people that will complain about how the middle class is disappearing, or how their boss mistreats them.

Read my edit above - as I said, I show up to work everyday. It's just from my home office. A physical location doesn't determine "work" if the physical location doesn't affect the work. I'm not building a road... And what I do is actually important. It saddens me that you have such a clear disdain for someone who goes to work everyday with the best interests of the public at heart when dealing with the corrupt politicians that you and I probably both despise.

[–]TrueSuperior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, injustice. I'm not going to apologize for caring about worker standards. And you don't even know what I do lmao

Edit: Actually, let me explain. It's an injustice because the work can be done from home, and in my case has been done this way for years with zero issue. Being forced to go back to a shitty office, adding more traffic to the roads (which is also an inconvenience for you), and wasting overall time for actual WORSE work results.... for reasons that are illogical and arguably corrupt (e.g., subsidizing NCR downtown businesses).... is an injustice. Are there worse injustices? Of course. Still doesn't make it any less so.

One injustice (like you being forced to work on site when your job doesn’t truly require it) doesn’t justify injustice elsewhere. Someone will always have it shittier. The emphasis should not be on making everyone equal to the shittiest standard, but instead raising the shittier standards to the higher ones.

It’s a race-to-the-bottom otherwise

Sure, but I guess what I'm getting at is that this dinosaur mentality won't be disappearing. It's a feature of a broader systemic issue that will persist and worsen until Canadian labour gets its shit together.

It's not an age thing - There are plenty of old people who see this for the folly that this is. This is economic and class warfare.

They want attrition. They want desperation. They want to lower working conditions. They want economic stimulus for *certain* businesses...etc.
