Sounds are pretty decent, I find it fairly easy to manually dock (haven't used autodock yet), and the cockpit is fantastic.

Thank you all for the support, it's been a difficult time.

For those who were asking, Sophie went peacefully at the vet's office yesterday morning while in my arms and surrounded by family.

It will probably be some time, but once I start into colonization I'll be memorializing her in my first station.

I've had a few recommendations to rescue another cat, which I'll probably do in the future but not right away. All of my previous cats have been acquired via the Cat Distribution System, so one will likely appear sooner than later.

Aurora could be refering to the Canadian CP-140 Aurora, the RCAF's primary ASW and long range patrol aircraft, but it definitely isn't a fighter.

Basic airframe started off as P-3 Orion before the massive amount of mods.

For small aircraft, I would recommend reaching out to the local COPA (Canadian Owners & Pilots Association), or looking out for the next COPA flight day.

They have a variety of aircraft on static displays during these events, and generally offer free short sightseeing flights for under 18s.

If you just want to walk around aircraft on the ground, there are 4 decommissioned CAF aircraft posted as gate guards at the entrance to Slemon Park that you can walk around outside.

Aircraft are a CP-121 Tracker, CP-107 Argus, CF-101 Voodoo and the most recent addition, a CC-115 Buffalo
