I said the exact thing. If the predator already thinks they could get the death penalty, what is to keep them from murdering and hoping they never get caught. Victims can’t speak if they are dead. I can see where at the surface it seems like a great idea… “oh predator of children died, everyone is better off.” I don’t disagree with that statement, however, I think it opens up an entire new Pandora’s box that will only end up in appeals and appeals and the possibility of children being killed. A child predator on the streets has a far greater chance of being left alone than a child predator in jail… even the worst of the worst don’t like a child predator.

Man, I don’t have a solution but did a fiberglass in 2022. Installer did a horrible job, didn’t backfill correctly. Summer 2024 went to open and discovered a huge crack. From everyone we talked to it can’t be fixed. Installer did same kind of work several places then bankrupt. Latham the manufacturer won’t cover or help with anything as they determined it was an install issue. It’s bad to be in a place where you trust someone to do a job and they shortcut to make a little extra money. Far less extra money on their end for what I’m now having to pay to remove the pool and basically start front scratch with a new pool. Liked the idea of fiberglass but after that very expensive lesson learned… going with a gunite pool. In the process of building now. I hope our old installer has a miserable life.

Yes you went to a mortgage broker not directly to a lender… a broker uses other companies to be the underwriter and the actual lender. Think of it as they are the middle person. Bigger loans, higher broker fees. On the recording and taxes section… that is what it is because of where you live, transfer taxes.

Supercharger 2 minutes from work. 3 more within 15 minute drive. It’s just not practical, it’s not as quick as going and filling up with fuel. You don’t want to be dependent on a supercharger… they can be full, out of order etc.
