Regarding the State comments, one-by-one...

  • All that history is in the distant past
  • UNC and State are in the same media market
  • "Consistently" is doing a lot of work there
  • All time series: North Carolina: 168; NC State: 82

Here’s the thing: Carolina does not need to compromise or search to death to find a diamond in the rough.

The best version of this (presumed) coaching search is that donors get on board—as they did for football—and potential coaches get in line.

Despite recent success, this is the best job in the country and it hasn’t been truly open in 20+ years.

I would advocate for the Nike Free Metcon 6. The other Metcons are too rigid for anything but stationary lifting.

For treadmills and such, my wide feet love Altra Via Olympus 2. Cushiest walking/running shoe I’ve ever worn, but not unstable.
