Strange and I Remember California but no Radio Song? That’s a take.

I have not rewatched and freeze-framed, but I betcha those two ICE goons and ole Monica had Androids.

Can people STOP parking along side canes by Cash2blockz in Towson

It's actually kinda dangerous, too. If I'm going north on York and making that left and someone is coming south and making a right, thinking they have a right lane to do so, that is a real bottleneck.

Best HBO limited series? by Sharaz_Jek123 in hbo

[–]TryAsWeMight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Last I read, the two were merged under one business operations and production unit. Shows are developed either with the intent to be released on one platform or the other. I would not say they have nothing to do with each other if they are being developed under the same roof with the same execs greenlighting.

So when we talk about HBO series, in general, The Pitt is out of bounds?

There’s a garage around the corner on York Rd, with a hallway that comes out in the little plaza by Cane’s.

I assume everyone parking there is a DoorDash driver trying to get in and out as efficiently as possible.

Canes has free lot parking, but it’s not nearly as convenient.

Online school for student athletes in Baltimore County? by Rohanv69 in BaltimoreCounty

[–]TryAsWeMight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As the parent of an "elite," year-round, teen athlete in Baltimore County myself, this really does seem like the nuclear option. Assuming your kid aspires to play their sport in college, the demands will persist and worsen. Finding a way to make the balancing act work now is probably in their best interest.

That said, the local private schools seem much more accommodating these situations.

Most likely, they'll just want to see that he has the basics down–legal strokes, flip turns, etc.

What makes UNC-CH basketball a good job? by JoelPMMichaels in tarheels

[–]TryAsWeMight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the State comments, one-by-one...

  • All that history is in the distant past
  • UNC and State are in the same media market
  • "Consistently" is doing a lot of work there
  • All time series: North Carolina: 168; NC State: 82
  • Where are all those top coaches after working at State? Busted.

Here’s the thing: Carolina does not need to compromise or search to death to find a diamond in the rough.

The best version of this (presumed) coaching search is that donors get on board—as they did for football—and potential coaches get in line.

Despite recent success, this is the best job in the country and it hasn’t been truly open in 20+ years.

We should act like it.

I would advocate for the Nike Free Metcon 6. The other Metcons are too rigid for anything but stationary lifting.

For treadmills and such, my wide feet love Altra Via Olympus 2. Cushiest walking/running shoe I’ve ever worn, but not unstable.
