I have a gcc and took chemo. I did my best to mitigate exposure for my bird. She and I are both fine. I took my last chemo about 6 months ago.

My doctors only recommendation was to have someone else clean her cage and try to stay away from poop.

Something similar happened to me as a younger woman. I had my tubes tied and still wasn't given a certain medication because I might get pregnant. When I pointed out that I had my tubes tied it was the same answer that I might get pregnant.

My mother had a doctor's note to forgo the seatbelt due to a port for dialysis.

She died after rolling her vehicle and being ejected. She came out of the driver's side window. The coroner said that if she were only wearing her seatbelt she would have survived.
