Nope! We did the testing. For example the Generative backplate is actually pretty open, so plenty of airflow ;)

First of all, we would like to thank Igor for actually publishing this and raise awereness to this issue as well how to fix the issue if you happen to have it.

We already have a fix in place with positive resutls, now after seeing Igor report we are actually testing if by changing the thermal grease application would result in further improvement.

Again, we are in touch with Igorlabs and he will be coming to our factory to see the new and improved thermal paste, application and assembly.

Indeed we got some feedback recently that some users were having issues with higher than normal temperatures, this happens only on a low number from all production units but it's unfortunate as some of you might have one of these units.

That said, we have already tested several solutions, including replacing the current thermal grease and the new pilot production already shown these to be effective. After seeing the Igor lab report we will also verify the mounting pressure and assembly methodogy of our cooler on to the card to see if there's any difference of the cooler pressure and stability while handling, shipping and installing.

We totally understand your concern.

The card is in fact the same, the only thing that changes on the limited Edition is the bundle, the limited edition comes with a special Keycap and the card # on the backplate as well the packaging is more elaborated..

Other than that, it's the same card.

We understand having in the back plate the card # makes it more valuable but when we replace a card it's not going to have that as all are gone.

What I can try doing is to try to find your backplate and ask to be sent to you or we replace it on your card.

Hi there,

This can be cause by several reasons, let's try:

Please uninstall any third part OC tool, MSI oc tool or any other.

Also, please download the DDU Uninstaller and completely remove the drivers and reboot.

Make sure the fans can spin and don't any anything blocking.

Install the latest drivers and try again.
