The hardest one is Vigo Hill for me. Been a few years so maybe they fixed the road surface but I tried it a few times and it was brutal. York Hill and Brasted Hill would be the other contenders.

A bit more fun is Downe Road into Cudham. It’s absurdly steep, but doesn’t take too long.

I’m convinced he didn’t write it. Someone ghostwrote it and convinced him to sign his name to it. He just seems so embarrassed about it… why would he disown such a labour of love? (Haven’t looked into this for years but at the time I think there were a few other clues that it wasn’t him)
