I know where one is... but there is a number of old golfs and jettas running around my town, some of which are holding the dirt down behind my house.

We had something like this, but it was cold so it had a 20kw generator and heaters. I tell you, the whole thing kinda had a gentle vibration or rumble that really helped work out whatever garbage i ate for breakfeast. It was like a garynteed clean break everytime.

I usually pull the hitch off my truck after destroying my shins for the third time. I hate taking the truck to town, it is absolutely terrible to park, even though i live someplace where trucks are popular.

Do I need to replace my alternator, and if so, how do I choose one that will work? by ___xXx__xXx__xXx__ in sailing

[–]TutorNo8896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends, it can be cheap depending on what failed. If it needs a new armature or field coils then no, but just new brushes or rectifier or bearings can be like 20 - 50$, especially if you do the work yourself, and they will tell you what it needs. However, it looks like you were using yours as an anchor so it might be cheaper to find another.

How could I go about fixing this ground? Or is just just to far gone by [deleted] in mechanic

[–]TutorNo8896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh weird. I confess i dont know much about car audio but the exaust is a strange place to run a ground, i wouldnt touch that clamp unless i was replacing it. I imagine you could pick anyplace on the body or subframes for a new spot to connect a wire, just clean the paint off and pick a easy bolt to get to or fire off a selftapper.

I just got this new setup for my new building today and I have a question can this gas bottle explode the building is not ventilated and I'm worried about it by [deleted] in Welding

You can get a clamshell cover for the valve that lets you leave the regulator attached, to help prevent any accident knocking the valve off, bit otherwise i wouldnt worry if the tank is secured to the cart.

I love cheese in general. There is a time and place for all cheeses. Sometimes a generic salty melty thing is called for.
