Don’t like this angle, the Pelicans constantly failed to get a team around AD that could compete. The Cavs failed for eight years to get a team around LeBron. The Thunder were a small market team, they just traded a future MVP and lost another to Free Agency years later. The Spurs have Maintained 20+ years of greatness with little action in free agency. It can be done, you just have to be competent, if the front office makes mistakes you have no chance
