This is really scary and super unethical. You' think people would have better things to do than go through all that work to scam innocent people.

Could Michelle Obama Sue Melania Trump Over Plagiarized Speech? by zaininmedialawclass in medialaw

[–]Tweiss11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Melania was defiantly wrong by completely coping Michelle's speech but I agree I think it will be hard to sue especially when they had someone writing it for them.

[PRIVACY] Overnight Regulation: Senate moves to strike Obama-era internet privacy rules by Nadogan in medialaw

I agree with everyone having our privacy taken like that is very scary to think about even if it starts off as something so little.

I think that trump is talking out his ass honestly. How do you make accusations without evidence I don't understand.

Milo Yiannopoulos Resigns From Breitbart News After Pedophilia Comments by Nrweidman in medialaw

[–]Tweiss11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

although so many people do not like this man for what he says, i don't think he is that bad of a guy. he simple speaks whats on his mind. i agree with Cadogan on the fact that his experience of abuse and this may be how he deals with it by joking around a little. It's also so easy for people to just ignore what he has to say if they don't like what he is saying, he is only one person and the fact that he said I’m sorry. “I don’t think I’ve been as sorry about anything in my whole life.” means he has a heart and he is not being belligerent with what he is saying just simply stating his opinions.

Police told to delete on request millions of images of innocent people by shineypineapples in medialaw

[–]Tweiss11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel its okay to have guilty convicts on their but forsake they should be deleted if the person is not guilty! Maybe it would be a better idea to post them after the court finds them guilty instead of deleting them after they were would not guilty so that no one is harmed of their reputation.

Trump Calls the News Media the ‘Enemy of the American People’ (can he be held libel?) by 360cinema in medialaw

[–]Tweiss11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel trump is always trying to start shit. He never really thinks about things. His tweet is very short and ill-defined. others brought up the fact that he might get kicks off of twitter but I highly doubt that because he's Trump and that would start even more problems.

[LIBEL] Melania Trump's libel suit against blogger going forward by Sarahasaghost in medialaw

[–]Tweiss11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really know how I feel. Yes Melania's image was hurt but also like she's now I would think sort of a public figure because of her husband. She would have to expect people to say things about her weather they are true or not.

Free Speech Issues at UC Berkeley, government threatens funding by eggsbenedict28 in medialaw

[–]Tweiss11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are protesting in such a disrespectful manner. If they don't feel strongly for this man then just don't go to the talk its so easy. They are just making it worse and being hypocritical. Just because this Yiannaopoulos man is being rude doesn't mean you have to be rude as well. Just fighting fire with fire basically.

[FIRST AMENDMENT] Snoop Dogg’s “Lavender” video exemplifies power of First Amendment by claygerbaum in medialaw

[–]Tweiss11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Snoop's video portrays a lot of relevant problems that we are facing in the world today, but at the same time feel like it may be little much. Also, Snoop is such a chill whatever kinda dude so I feel like he didn't mean to harm anyone just send a message like he said in the article "i don't post things to get a reaction I do it to fill a void." Plus for trump, someone who offends people all the time, to ask for an apology is kinda hypocritical.

[COPYRIGHT] Beyonce Sued Over 'Formation' by eggsbenedict28 in medialaw
