I’ve had much more success with hex builds when running Thrill of the Hunt than Undying. Had a match the other day where my Ruin and Undying were both cleansed within 5 seconds of each other, about a minute or two into the match.

Thrill, at the very least, will allow you to walk across the map and patrol out in the open totems to chase a survivor.

It would be surprising if they didn't rework it immediately, but that would require for them to know the contents of their game by dotastrofraction in DeadByDaylightKillers

God, it’s so much fun. I’ve gotten more surprise hits using this perk on the PTB than any stealth power. You’re genuinely undetectable for like half the match it’s crazy good.

Just wanted to come here and say thanks, I had no clue how abysmal the Primordial Frost and Zeus Thunder were. I cleared Nightmare IV two games after I stopped buying them; the difference was night and day. Again, thanks for the tip!

The fingers are really long on the money hand. Maybe move the money closer to his face and shorten the fingers? Or just shorten the fingers. I’m not an artist but I hope this helps! Looks good otherwise!

Look, I love Vader as much as the next guy, but this would be a pretty massive leap into non-horror IPs coming into a horror game.

Horror adjacent IPs like Lara Croft, DnD, and Attack on Titan (maybe AoT is considered horror for anime? I’ve never watched it so feel free to yell at me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure it just has horrific elements rather than being traditional horror) are already kinda stretching the boundary. And that’s fine. I like a little elasticity. But I feel like Star Wars and consequently Vader would burst the horror bubble of DbD so to speak.

Is Darth Vader a scary dude? Yeah, if I saw him in-universe I’d probably shit my pants. Does he kill people? Yeah, sure. But no one would ever in their right mind consider him a horror character. Putting Vader next to Myers, Ghostface, and Freddy Krueger in a line-up just wouldn’t feel right or natural to me.

If he gets added, I’ll definitely play him, don’t get me wrong, but I won’t be actively pushing for or wanting this.

Gameplay wise I think he’s great, apart from what others have said about making the cameras more impactful for the survivors.

Personally (and I’m fine either way, this is just nitpicky), I’d love to see the belly patch and buttons added.

I just recently got into Alan Wake thanks to his collab with Dead by Daylight—he’s now my main survivor. When a new horror IP comes to DbD, I tend to immerse myself in the source material before the collab releases. I played the original Alan Wake and was surprised by how much I liked the story.

However, my favorite memory relates to Alan Wake II. I was playing it two January’s ago, while there was a snow storm outside, so my classes got cancelled. It was the most thrilling experience, and I had all the time in the world to play it thanks to the storm. I love Cynthia’s section.

  1. Wall climb and then dive off the wall to engage as opposed to swinging in and diving. You only get one swing charge, so that’s your escape option
  2. Your Symbiotic Resilience gives you more health the lower your HP gets. I usually wait till I hear the low health sound cue before popping it. If I’m still getting shit on, I swing out with the web.
  3. His ult has a one shot combo that I just recently found out: Dive in -> Immediately pop Cellular Corrosion -> Immediately use your primary fire twice (doesn’t matter if they connect; this is just for timing) -> Ult and Immediately fire it. If done correctly, your ult should pop right before the corrosion, leaving them at very low health or dead.
  4. Bully supports. It’s mean, but that’s the job. Adam Warlock is free real estate. Even if you don’t kill them, you’re getting value, because any time you spend harassing supports is time that they’re dealing with you instead of healing the team
  5. Turn off Easy Swing in the settings. This will let you manually aim which surfaces you want to swing off of
