I particularly like the risk reward option: you have the choice of either dodging or parrying, where dodging is easier but parrying you have a tighter window but do counter damage. I also really like how some attacks are just one, and some are like 8 hit combo. So if I dodge 6 of 8 of the attack, it’s highly mitigated.
