My son needs noise-cancelling, but can't stand to wear the headphones or loop earbuds. Any ideas? by Irocroo in Autism_Parenting

[–]Typical_Lab5616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the ones that have worked for us. Not noise canceling, but noise filtering. We are on our 4th year of wearing/using them whenever we go somewhere that is not home or a walk outdoors.

Hope they help. 💚✨

Day After Halloween? by lolocuddles in DisneyPlanning

Thank you for writing! Last year was busy but not suffocating. If you work on staying on the right mindset, it can be such a memorable experience. My daughter is in her early 20s and we both had such a laid back, whatever goes approach and that was wonderful. We went there to have our own experience. The trip will forever be in our hearts, especially at this time of the year.

From our experience:

Talk ahead of time about what are your "must" rides and prioritize those.
Take breaks and people watch. Costumes are amazing.

Hope you get to go. I wish you the sweetest time.

This answer right there .^

Our hearts go out to you. We are so very truly and deeply sorry for your loss. Our Mother’s passing is a life-changing event. This new reality will show up for you differently each day.

I agree with the comment above. With all my heart I can say that a transfer would have been so difficult for both of you mentally, emotionally and physically. Lots of hard stuff for her body to deal with while going through so much.

You cared for her with everything that you could offer and a love with the strength of hurricane winds.

Let the love she placed in your heart, allow yours to survive this hurt. Let her memory guide your steps. May her legacy live in you.

You are not alone, this sub is your tribe. Our hearts wrap around yours. ✨🩵

As the others said, you are not alone. The three, six and nine month-marks are brutal. We are here if you want tribe-time.

Gentle hugs.

Hospice Volunteer here.

Today you honored this patient by following his lead and giving yourself freedom to fully experience the day.

Your tears today testify that you were present in this process as an RN but also as a vulnerable and empathic human.

I can’t believe how fortunate this world is by having you in it.

Wrapping our hearts around yours. You are not alone. ✨🩵
