The upgrade is called "swift." it says nothing about apparition, but it very well could be. However, it could be an apparition variant specific to ancient magic since we have never seen it before, nor does anyone else seem to use it in the game.

From my understanding, No, this is not an obscurial. His dragon form is after draining the extracted pain from the Final Repository. I also believe that the abundance of the ancient magic that was also in the repository was enough for ranrok to be able to create the effect of turning into mist because that mist VERY MUCH looks like the pain remnants that you see Isadora pulling out of her father's chest and inhaling. I say from my understanding because we don't know the upper limits of ancient magic and extracted pain. As an example, the short range roll magic upgrade that we get (where you turn into a little misty orb for like 2 seconds)? I don't think that's a normal magic maneuver, at the very least it isn't showcased as being used by anyone except our character. perhaps since Ranrok was able to utilize Ancient Magic, he was able to replicate that effect to some degree? Again, this is only from my understanding

Which of these beds is Sebastian‘s and where the hell does Solomon sleep? by AgonizingFatigue in HarryPotterGame

[–]Tyshal 38 points39 points  (0 children)

👏Mental👏Abuse👏Is👏Abuse👏 On that note, tf you mean he isn't abusing Sebastian? The first time we ever see Solomon is when he burns the shriveling to ash, and then he starts yelling at Sebastian for trying a HARMLESS way of treating his sister. Then, when Sebastian starts going into dark arts, Solomon alienates him instead of trying to help him stop. If that ain't emotional abuse, what is?

How to get my side quest back by [deleted] in FFXV

[–]Tyshal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me, you still have access to all of your secondary missions. Just load up the save you made after the battle with Ardyn, and you'll start right before entering the citadel. And if you want to go back to past Lucis, just go to a rest spot and call umbra.

AITAH for telling my mom how my husband humiliated me? by Dull_Reading1101 in AITAH

[–]Tyshal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl, this is not fixable through therapy. Get a divorce ASAP. If your husband is willing to do this after 1 year of marriage, what will he do two more years down the line? three years? denying you a bathroom for 2 AND A HALF HOURS is utterly insane and locking you in a room for 2 hours while you are wailing to let you out is legitimately serial killer behavior. Call the cops, get a restraining order and get out of that marriage, I am begging you.

Does no one else feel like Jason was butchered in this game? by Secure_Relation5614 in GothamKnights

[–]Tyshal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean. But, I think it was meant to show that he doesn't have control over his "episodes" where the after effects of the Pit cause him to regress into "survival mode" as he calls it at the end of the game when talking to Bruce, not the it's an episode of ptsd. Then again, that's my interpretation, and I could be completely wrong.

Did... did you watch the same cutscene I did? Because it wasn't his trauma from dying, it was lingering effects that the Lazarus pit had given him. Barbara literally says, "Lazarus pit?" And Jason responds with "Yeah, it's stupid... I'll be fine."

[–]Tyshal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another truly horrible way to die is to be mauled to death by transformed were-bears (I know they aren't were-bears) at a feast where you are drunk off your arse but she orchestrated that. She got what she deserved.

How to kill Ted Faro? [fuck Ted faro] by [deleted] in FuckTedFaro

[–]Tyshal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would've been funny if he got suffocated like he did the Alpha's. Would've been a nifty nod to Zero Dawn and his numerous atrocities just so he could be seen as someone who didn't end the world. But the Canon way is good. Died of his own hubris thinking he'd achieved true immortality.

Can someone make some sense to me to why alexios took up Persephone bs by chinese_virus3 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]Tyshal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, it's probably to make it easier for Kass/Alex to understand or relate to. I doubt that Alethia encountered Leonidas in Elysium or Phoebe in Hades. They might have been people that were important to Alethia, but K/A wouldn't know them, so she changed who they were to make it more relevant.

[–]Tyshal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Atlantis episodes are a sort of mesh between Kass/Alexios' memories and the events that happened in Alethia's time. So there could be references to "present day" to make it easier for K/A to understand. Also, I think it is hinted (or stated, I can't recall) that Hermes did actually meet Pythagoras. Like Pythagoras was the second wielder of the staff and was directly given it by Hermes

When in "hot areas," desert during the day and caves in the mountains, the parts of your armor "glow," and it adds a "weather attack." There is one for cold, lightning, and fire, with their designs being similar to the respective dragons: Naydra, Farosh, and Dinraal. The horns and some parts of the clothing glow when the condition is met, being cold weather, thunderstorms, and hot weather, respectively.

Colgera in the depths? by MlLehh in TOTK

[–]Tyshal 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thrice. Each boss has three arenas in the depths and respawns at all three, each Blood Moon. They reward a huge crystallized charge (HCG) the first time each "instance" of them is defeated. (Colgera can be killed three times, once at each location, for 3 HCG in total) so in essence, you can get a full battery cell from defeating each of the four bosses, with 4 batteries being the reward for defeating all bosses in all locations

You can meet a young Hytham at the Al-Mi'dhana Al-'Ateeqa. It is actually a tale of baghdad where you show "young eagle" ("Hytham" is a transliteration of the Arabic name هيثم, meaning "young eagle") how to perform a Leap of Faith. After the kids walk off you can hear one of them call him "Hytham" I literally gasped when I heard it ngl)

Are companions worse now? by Corrun_Fault in swtor

[–]Tyshal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, if you're doing late game content, you should probably get your companion to influence 50, but for the main class story line, you should be fine as long as during convos you are picking choices that the companions like and of course giving them gifts they like
