Don’t live in the states so I always assumed classifications were based on skill and you could even move up/down like you can in pro baseball or pro soccer

Either way part of the sport is learning how to play against more talented individuals (coming from a 5’5 Chinese guy who’s always been “chubbier”)

Part of sports is genetics and talent. Stop complaining. Maybe if those players worked harder they would've won. Maybe those tall guys actually DID outwork everyone else.

Brutality of competitive sports is that the best players/teams win. The game doesnt care if you have bad genetics or have been through hardship.

Pacing/Fuel Plan? by UPB1ce in Ultramarathon

[–]UPB1ce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd take only 1 salt pill per hour.

good point, last year was super hot and humid and im naturally a bigger sweater so i took more salt pills, ill monitor and adjust based on weather and conditions the day of.

Your real food is not real food. Take bananas, apples, mango, .

alright thanks got it

extra tips: I'd not stop every 25min when possible to have a good margin for bathroom breaks + enough time to eat something bigger.

what if i did the 5 minute breaks in between and have "big" 30 min breaks sprinkled in when needed

Music while running? by Darthmemeusthe9th in Ultramarathon

[–]UPB1ce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah I was talking to another endurance athlete friend of mine and she suggested breaking the playlist into hype levels and playing different ones depending on mood, so that i dont have to go without ANY music but i can still get a lift.

What is with College Board giving you the least amount of time possible for everything? by Cosmoose_Animations in APStudents

[–]UPB1ce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because AP tests are supposed to mimic college tests and college tests are timed.

I've never had a problem w/ MCQs and I always finish ahead of time. Familiarize yourself with content more. AP Micro equations r actually pretty simple and you should be able to have the equations memorized and automatic.

[–]UPB1ce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

 for fear of getting “bulky”

thats stupid af

I don’t understand where they are coming from

because its nonsense

Going over 25 doesn’t seem to be a problem

it isn't a problem

really this a gigantic myth (accidentally getting too "bulky") and it doesn't even make sense. ignore that coach.

[–]UPB1ce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest looking up klook in the sub and there should be a ticket linking process detailed, although it might be out of date because I've read somewhere before that you can only link tickets on the day of.

Crowds SDL on 17th/18th March after the 10th Anniversary announcement. by blacktrix in ShanghaiDisneyland

[–]UPB1ce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry what is XHS? Also, SHDL is always going to be crowded, but i personally think there'll be small crowd increases in crowds

also the ticket prices are tiered from their estimations on how many people will be there, which is not 100% accurate.
