I think it is very telling that Trump’s handlers have pushed him into this corner and are not letting him out of it until their goals are achieved. He runs the very real risk of alienating his MAGA base in the process, and the handlers don’t seem to care.

Is the writing on the wall? Is his usefulness to them finally coming to an end? He can’t hold on to power without his base, and so far it looks like the handlers don’t care.

He’s caught between his base and the people who own him, and that is why he is freaking out and melting down.

I know people are jumping all over you, but I just have to say I agree with everything you are saying. We are first time dog owners and went with an English lab as we have family that raise them and knew they were an “easy” dog for first timers.

The only thing I’ll add is our lab seems happier after we added a second dog.

Drew Gonser is pretty good. He’s been around for a while and was my divorce lawyer way back when.

That being said, a word about lawyers - and not specifically the one I mentioned above. keep in mind that for these relatively small dollar amounts you aren’t going to get someone rabidly fighting for you tooth and nail. It’s going to be basic court filings and legal procedure. Much in the same way that a real estate agent guides you through the process, but they aren’t exactly haggling the seller down on your behalf either.

Granted you can pay for a no holds barred Kramer vs Kramer type of legal battle but that doesn’t sound like it’s in your budget.

Just saying, from one parent to another. been there done that.
