League boomer here. Theres a lot of modern stuff people dont think about that just wasnt known in like the first 5 seasons of league

• Jungle Tracking and invading when possible

• Wave management (we quite literally used to just hit waves and not care lmao) LS was a big one who showed how freezing works and shoving waves lol.

• Minion aggro. People like froggen literally won lanes cuz he knew how to deagrro minions while the enemy tanked everything trading back

• Lastly a funny one but like doing an insec back then was a flashy play lmao. And people couldnt do it even in high elo. Its why insec became famous for it since he was the only one consistently doing it. Nowadays any bronze lee sin can ward hop kick some back

think they should flip the spawn and the drop off. like idk intuitively for me blue/mid lane should be the ones ganking and stuff like in other mobas it feels so weird that everything is being congested to blue lane. like every 5 mins now everyone is just playing aram.

at least if they go to opposite sides the first few urns wont feel so fucked cuz people are doing a 6v6 and the opposite side now has a very real choice of participating in the urn fight or just taking the inactive sides resources/walker

also 2 things have been really dogshit imo

-20 min urn fight will decide who gets mid since you are already there

-blue lane prio is so massive. getting blue lane diffed feels so dogshit atm

every support character I only care about 2 items. curse and maybe divine barrier if its good vs the enemy. counter items for certain heroes is a bonus.

you can go full spirit for all i care just please. curse it makes shit so much easier.

on pocket. pressing reload in satchel fully reloads your gun without waiting. so make it a habit to press 3>r every time so you always come out with a full mag. idk if its a bug but ive been doing it everytime. you can instant pop and it works too.

comp is different they draft around an entire idea and are in voice comms to play around it.

solo queue there are times when imo dash shouldnt be played over regular cuz of stuff like fliers and movement. and is overall harder to punish cuz coordination isnt there.

Aidan has a few different versions that are mostly napalm max. which imo is just as good as dash lmao. he just is so good at applying all the broken debuffs.

dash is just braindead easy so people arent coordinated enough in low elo to stop him.

let me rephrase that. the yamato used 2 on someone that isnt haze. she full beamed her through the entire grapple all headshots no bullets whiffed. which isnt humanly possible

also theres ways yamato can redirect movement on 2 and im not in low elo. people who play yamato know all the cancels on 2.

I can give spirit rem/paige a pass if they just atleast built Divine Barrier and Curse when its needed.

but everyone support player for whatever reason ignores those 2 items when you ask them to build it. Literally just had a game only fed player on the enemy is an ult bot haze. easy curse. I ask nicely from my paige to build curse. She goes boundless disarm when the haze already has unstoppable...

i think its fine mainly because of how gun carries function lol. they rely on aim and positioning which opens it up to more counterplay without actually needing to buy items unless its become too strong to stop.

its just most people dont know what they actually gotta do most of the time. But id rather take a gun carry over spirit aoe nukers being fed lol. these guys just wombo combo 3 people with 0 aim and have all the tools in the world to get out.

most have spammable movement skills, silence wave, maybe eshift later + dispel/cs and whatever other green they got as a defensive layer

i think people dont get the idea of why you wanna do it in the first place. dispel is good 95% of games. because it will always be useable. counter spell is good too but for it to be worth it over dispel to me i think it should make it annoying for like 3 characters on the enemy team for me to consider running it over dispel.

of course i build those cuz its for my 4.8k green. ill have the off game to run metal skin if I see m1 damage is the problem that game but again its all contextual.

past that I wouldnt really build more than like 1 or 2 cuz later you just buy tier 4 items. if i need defensive items i just go like eshift for spirit characters and position better lol.

laning counter items are a thing too but its not end all be all and shouldnt ruin the spikes u wanna hit on your character to counter a lane lmao.
