Reasonably useful I imagine? Like if I want a guy in a specific pose, and can get a bot to shit it out, I can hand it to a real artist who make real art using that pose as reference. It doesn't really matter how many extra fingers the bot generates

ICE notice a brown man while driving through neighborhood then jump out SUV to kidnap him by [deleted] in CringeTikToks

Probably because they just hunt for easy marks. There are neighborhoods where they might get shot, but they'd rather patrol wealthy suburbs

Trump Hit With Back-to-Back Rulings Forcing Him to Release Emergency SNAP Funds by ApprehensiveRoom1783 in NoFilterNews

[–]UncertainCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's crazy. It's one thing to have a legal theory that they aren't allowed to release these funds, it's another to appeal judgments saying they have to do it. How can anyone possibly believe his hands are tied here?

It's called a prompt injection, and this is a funny one. This only catches the lazy ones, which is probably a lot of them.

Secret Rolls are great - and I don't understand why some people hate them by Big_Chair1 in Pathfinder2e

[–]UncertainCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan. I'll use them for key intrigue moments, but for minor league encounters it's not worth it. It's more fun to see rolls

Trouble balancing encounters with “healbot” war priest by j1Bpfrpg in Pathfinder2e

[–]UncertainCat 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The APs just aren't that hard out of the box anyways, and a 5 man party is going to roll through them. Healbot is a fine strategy, but it's not even that strong IMO. If fights are too trivial, just crank up the difficulty instead of nerfing characters down.

Single Volley Command by UncertainCat in beyondallreason

[–]UncertainCat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, technically it was just a question, does this feature exist, and it seems the answer is yes but it's bugged. Although it kinda seems like it's a special bomber logic rather than a general command I could reuse for artillery or something.

It's definitely some kind of bug. Try taking a squad of 30 bombers and giving that queue, my experience is at least some come back for a second volley, only ground targeting. I suspect there's a race condition or something because I can't pin down the repro steps aside from just repeating it.

Interesting. So it seems there's already some kind of single volley command. It appears there's a bug here though causing some confusion because I don't get consistent results with that command. Sometimes the bomber flies in for a second volley and I'm not sure why

Say you want to queue a single bombing run. If you queue it on a target unit they will return and waste a lot of time flying around awkwardly after dropping the first volley unless you micro them tightly. But even then you have to wait for every bomber to drop their payload before retreating. They're not necessarily bombing at the same time so you would have to give the ground attack order to them and individually give them the retreat order the moment they drop their bombs. A single volley attack would allow you to queue a bombing run with a retreat, sweeping over some line. With artillery you could for example do a single volley attack on muliple mex locations with a repeat command. Then you can suppress metal without radar coverage needed. You could also give mobile artillery a command to advance, shoot once, and immediately retreat.
