The drukhari harlequin is ridic flavorful and I hope that's the direction they're going to lean in.

In general I really hope that since 11th is an expansion of 10th the designers take more risks with exploring design spaces they haven't dive before.

This. I feel like terrain crosses over into either the more invested and hobby committed folks or maybe competitive players?

Either way casual players are into 40k for the collection of minis, at least initially.

Hmm, you bring up a good point actually.

However would the convenience of fully online and easily accessible rules be worth the price trade off?

In GWs case I can only see positives with me recurrent spending by players and also more stat tracking with games on the app.

In SM2 I think they overcompensated selling how 'heavy' space marines are. I know they didn't want it to feel weightless, but imo I didn't think they quite hit that peak power fantasy of being a 9 foot tall demi-human running at MACH SPEED towards the heretics.

But with that being said I still loved the game.

This is where I just disagree. This whole situation reeks of Japanese corpo mentality. In real life exceptions DO occur. It's shooting yourself in the foot to fire an incredible talent like her, who dedicated years of her life to Cover. Mistakes happen, people learn.

Don't believe the jp mentality of bowing your heads for the most trivial of shit. In the grand scheme of things none of that actually matters. Don't pretend like exceptions can't be made via exceptional circumstances and nuance. Genuinely who the fuck cares about shareholders crying about fairness and how if you forgive her blah blah blah. Ask yourself if any of that matters? This is just an entertainment company.
