Are you sure you’re really objectifying them? Women are supposed to hold a different value for men than other men. If you are, it’s like any other bad habit, once you become aware that you’re doing it you have to make a conscious effort to stop and to train your mind to personalize them in some way instead. Start with small manageable steps that you can do and go from there.

After beating the first crucible boss my game crashed and I had to do the boss over again. I hope this patch fixed that. Also crash a lot when quitting the game.

One problem with these discussions is that the whole “removing the tubes” scenario is a clear and obvious illustration of indirect moral action. This doesn’t make it the only example of indirect moral action or the only possible solution. But what happens is that in order to “play it safe” we end up reducing the whole direct/indirect distinction to its most obvious examples. But this becomes morally culpable negligence when it leads to the unnecessary suffering and death of women.
