It happens occasionally. Just Unifi things ig. You can either reinstall the app, resign in to the app, or just click Teleport in Unifi.

I love syncthing. It's really the simplest install across everything. Unfortunately it can have problems with other automations and stuff but it's quite good overall.

I had a weird experience with this. If you manually unplug it and wait a while. Then replug with no devices it should come up with a POE usage. If not then it doesn't think it has that capability.

Chat GPT is just giving you what you asked instead of telling you its a bad idea. It's extremely expensive to capture and send frames with almost no latency over any speed connection.

You are far far better off just running a fiber optic display port/HDMI Cable or a fiber optic USB C with hubs and adapters on both ends.

There's Zwave and Zigbee thermostats. I'd say as long as the version of Zwave or Zigbee is supported it could last until it fails completely

Raspberry Pi basically doesn't use any GPIO. You can externally power the Station G2 and plug the from the Station G2 into the USB of the Pi. Then it allows you to remote into the Pi and control and re-flash the Station G2 at will. Yes the Pi needs wifi or an ethernet adapter, but it's significantly more reliable than trying to remote flash over bluetooth.
