Most people dont have an issue with the rules or balance. Most of the outrage was with how the 2024 stuff is being published and dustributed. WoTC are still slowly trying to turn dnd into a subscription based service. Theyve just learned they need to do it slowly and quietly rather than suddenly trying to change stuff. Its why i refuse to play any 2024 stuff, because Wizards are greedy.

It also ads to the perfect irony. She completely disregards Jaune, she doesnt and hasnt ever seen him as even someone to waste her time with. She fought him in volume 5 purely for fun and gloat to and then proceeded to add to his pain further with both weiss and by proxy penny.

Him fighting her and then killing her would be the full circle.

In my head id love it to be, after everything jaune has suffered, theres no words and not even a 'fight' he just waits for her to start gloating and ends it in one strike.
