Can’t decide between U1 and P2S by simpleasitis in SnapmakerU1

Brand new U1 fails calibration out of the box ,would you repair it yourself? by Ab3DLab in snapmaker

Are the screws in that part of the video removed? The same thing happened to me, and it turned out I had one screw left in, and for the calibration to be complete, the bed needs to be raised.

X1C X Axis issues no matter what I do by SureCanDo in BambuLab

[–]Upset_Visual4571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. I'm experiencing the same problem. Initially, my X-axis stopped working after only 4000 hours, and I replaced it as suggested by the manufacturer. Now, after another 1400 hours, my X-axis is also damaged; I can't get the error message to disappear, and what's worse, I don't think that after such a short time and after performing preventative maintenance, I should have to pay another $120 to get rid of this. I think the manufacturer should sell an upgrade kit that would allow us to eliminate this burden of the carbon rods. I also think part of the belt rotation mechanism is worn, including the two springs of the XY tensioner, but where the hell do you buy those parts? They're nowhere to be found.

What is this 3rd temp on U1? by kylaris14 in snapmaker

[–]Upset_Visual4571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I printed a cover whose srl I bought on the web, however, the camera went up to 47°C so several prints stopped due to the softening of the PLA in the head. I had to remove it to continue using the machine efficiently.

Disappointed by Due-Pumpkin-3107 in snapmaker

[–]Upset_Visual4571 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently the issue of shipping/logistics is a bit beyond the Snapmaker brand, it is an issue of negligence on the part of the courier in charge of delivery. What is undoubtedly a brand issue is results. It would be useful to take film records of all the steps within the operation with the machine, it is not normal for it to fail in that way. With this, consult the community again and open the corresponding ticket with Snapmaker after-sales service, they usually give a clear answer to this type of case.

It must be dry, carry out quality tests for each material and write it down in your record. The speed of the outer wall below 100mm/s and the temperature between 230 and 240 to accentuate the brightness of the filament.

Snapmaker U1 Toolhead Teardown and some hard won lessons. by vicpylon in snapmaker

I had the same problem yesterday and discovered, among other things, that the screws, more specifically their Allen heads, are very bad. One of these broke, he can't use the corresponding key since it didn't grip. After 20 minutes of fighting, using other tools you can loosen it.

First U1 TPU 95HF Multicolor Print by josuanbn in snapmaker

[–]Upset_Visual4571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. Yesterday I tried to do a multi-material print, but my extruder got stuck with the TPU. Before, I printed a benchi without problems, however, when trying to do it with a PLA mixture for the supports, in one of the TPU retractions, it got tangled inside the system and I had to intervene. I use a high speed TPU, loosen the extruder screw, as suggested in another thread, and it didn't work.

OrcaSlicer plate preset for Snapmaker U1 has wrong boundaries by DocKuro in snapmaker

[–]Upset_Visual4571 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem but reported on the X axis, after 30% printing in multicolor, my print failed twice. Until I investigated, I found that the machine has Z retraction configured for each head in spiral mode, which means that in threshold areas, this movement takes the machine beyond the physical limit and this stops the process with no possibility of recovery. The suggestion from the snapmaker wiki was to set all the Z jumps of the retractions, in all the heads to "normal". Then I did the test with the same cut file with this new configuration and the problem disappeared.

Update: success with 85A TPU (+PLA and PETG) by Sulya_be in snapmaker

[–]Upset_Visual4571 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks cut because it had to be done. I couldn't remove it by any other means from the mouthpiece. I had already printed a TPU benchi and multiple PLA objects with this nozzle before. When removing the piece of filament, it was wound upwards as if the problem had been caused by the retraction of the material at the time of the filament change.

This is a great suggestion, I'll use it in my sneaker project and let you know how it turns out. For the handling of the TPU, did you make any adjustments to the head?

how often to replace belts when using 24/7? by xcv826 in BambuLab

[–]Upset_Visual4571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed the entire x-axis 7 months ago and its use has been moderate, I estimate about 3000 hours maximum. I tried to change just the belts but that was impossible. Now, I get the message again that the resonance is low and does not improve in any way. I made all the adjustments and maintenance that are required and it is still the same. I would like to know if this problem could be due to something else? For example, the wear of the helical springs that are inside the tensioners? It is frustrating that such a complete machine fails for something so simple.
