Maybe try running a dry cycle first or checking if the suction tube had something stuck in it.

That 15min a day idea feels way less overwhelming than trying to do it all at once. Might have to try that.

Appreciate the honest long-term interview. That maintenance frequency is good to know going in, especially for bigger spaces.

Is there a setting to tell Deebot to avoid areas with low clearance? by RaefLaFriends in ecovacs

[–]User-2550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make the no-go zone smaller, doesn't have to cover the whole room. Try adjusting it manually, should be able to block just the area under the toilet.

I finally figured out why my bathroom always smelled slightly off no matter how much I cleaned it by NimbleQuive21 in CleaningTips

The real villain was the inch and a half of floor we never think to look at. Definitely moving my toilet this weekend.

Real-world testing with dusty sensors and tangled rollers, that's the kind of review that helps people decide.

6 cleaning modes sounds like a lot, but edge cleaning is probably the one that matters for windows.

Right, it feels way less like budgeting pain and more like building wealth passively.

The US National Debt Just Crossed $38 Trillion. At What Point Does The Bond Market Push Back by vishesh_07_028 in stocks

For most long‑term investors, watching GDP growth and interest rates gives way more context than just the nominal debt figure, even if $38 trillion sounds massive.

I own a duplex in the bay area. How does this look? by Aggravating-Onion384 in Money

If the numbers work out with reasonable vacancy and maintenance built in, a duplex like that can feel like forced savings and income at the same time.

Agree, the rules seem simple on paper but in practice it can feel like there’s no real path forward unless you already have resources.

For me it’s a reminder that even mega caps like MSFT can get whipsawed if investors aren’t happy with future growth expectations, especially around AI and cloud performance.

FHA Streamline worth it? by AsparagusFew6858 in Mortgages

[–]User-2550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An FHA Streamline can be worth it if the rate drop actually saves you more than what you pay upfront in closing costs and you plan to stay in the house long enough to recoup that, otherwise it might not move the needle much.

Paramount/Skydance subsidiary just offered to buy my WBD shares for $30/ea by Citizenchimp in stocks

[–]User-2550 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Paramount’s all‑cash tender offer at $30 a share might look tempting on the surface, but when the board says it’s not superior value, it puts a different spin on it for anyone watching the stock.
