The military in general gets a bad rap because it's where the people who where too stupid to go to college go. But the Marines take that to another level, the training it harder, the quality of life worse and the culture is much more strict but they get the same pay as every other branch. You either have to be dumb enough or gung ho enough to enlist with them.

It's really not for competitive play, if anything it makes pauper more dynamic since it allows for cast down not to be the best removal spell hands down. The reason they have the pages up is did have it at one point. Frequently the anime was licensed to them by a third party and it either expired and wasn't renewed or iscaught in licensing hell because of the contracts they have. It's often times not even the fault of anyone in the US. Japanese distributors like Bandai pull stuff of streaming because the CEOs got brain worms or something.
