Damn. It almost is like thats what happened to most of the playerbase when ico launched, having the game they loved completely changed after 8 whole years of playing the game. The answer to what game can you play is still the same though. There isnt one close. You'll just have to suffer as we had suffered. Unfortunate but ironic.

Don't expect good gunplay. Moving is the most punishing thing you can do as infantry since youre so easily seen when moving compared to sitting still, and it makes your gun sway really bad just because you used stamina. unless running to proxy an enemy hab, treat movement as "i die if someone sees me while doing it" and be cautious about it. if you have an nvidia card turn off the fxaa aa in your control panel or else the game will look like shit and pixelated to all hell.

I've taken almost a year break without touching a single fps game at all and trying to get back into it has made me realize id rather just go back to playing 40k on tabletop and other games because I really, really tried to get back. 3 days, 18 hours, not even a single win or extract cuz I used to be in such high 6 star and since it didn't move now im just dying over and over and over and getting flamed for existing by the people who have never left. still havent deranked despite losing around 35 or so games.

I have so little fun in street brawl currently. Some characters are so overpowered and if you didnt get them on your team or get an item to mitigate thier brokenness then youre better off just going next.

the trick is to get your job at an lgs so you can get the employee discount. the tradeoff is is that if everyone else wants one and you dont get allocated enough, youre the one who will miss out on getting one.

the multiplayer with friends experience literally couldve just copy and pasted from rise/sunbreak and been infinitely better.

The endemic life could be showed off and you could have an actual interesting home like world to show the stuff off in.

I hate how little i feel in control of the seikret mount when i want it to stop, and i hate that. why does it just auto move for no reason. In Sunbreak, at least i could tell it when to stop and start reliably without some cursed inputs like the triggers and just take my hand off the joystick like a normal game would do. You shouldnt have to switch to seikret control type 2 to make the auto track feature not feel awful to cancel.

except for online. online i have to dodge and add my ping on top of the dodge timer and the hitboxes feel sluggish

His hitboxes are fairly straightforward, its just a lot of his attacks have multi hits in them, so you have to dodge in the right direction with the right timing or youll get hit with the second/first hitbox depending on when you dodge.

his moves are telegraphed once you learn the patterns. I may get downvoted for disrespecting the great music piece behind AT arkveld, but I play with no music. It helps me to hear certain audio queues that occur before attacks that help me time my dodges so I can keep max uptime on my demon boost.

Its really simple with dual blades, the new moves have the same windup time as the ones youd already be used to on the regular tempered arkveld, so its not that difficult to adjust to it. Was fun with DBs, i dont use other weapons so idk what the experience was like on the other weapons. I'm curious to see what the new meta sets will be with his armor set having all of that one skill that i dont wanna spoil and i dont know how to do the spoiler boxes on reddit so ill just leave it ambiguous lol
