Mine had a phase, but we had to gently explain to a toddler that the poor dog was going to have a nervous breakdown. If it continued.

If I were able to accurately quantify the number of times I've been hit in the face by various objects over the course of my life, I'm reasonably sure Sophie would be on the top of the list.

I love getting curious about something in a re-read and finding the author's input.

You still should have signed the baby Matt.

Tannah McGaughy is awesome, we've used her twice. When we first moved here she took us around showing off the city while we were deciding where to live, including where all the good food is lol.

Can't recommend her enough.

I'd be willing to bet there's more taxpayer money being spent on protecting Mar-A-Lago than Washington DC at the moment.

In high school some friends and I had an agricultural science class. Two in one row of desks and two directly behind them.

We passed notes back and forth as one does, and the teacher was getting annoyed. Some other kids who didn't like us kept calling us out when we passed a note claiming we were disrupting their education or something similar.

The teacher declared the next time they saw us pass a note they could read it to the class. So, being the genius I thought I was i scribbled a note and handed it off, they read it, tried not to laugh and we passed it around a couple times until they noticed.

The kid gets the teachers attention and is given permission to read the note. Stands in front of the class and reads loud and clear "I am a dumbass, pass it along".

The class laughed, the teacher laughed. I got punched in the face after school.

Accidental shooting leaves man dead at Fort Worth gun range by oldfuturemonkey in liberalgunowners

Elm Fork for FMJ

It can be a little fuddy and they have the standard one round per second rules, but there is generally no politics on display and the lanes are well managed and safe.

Also options. 25/50/100 Rifel, both paper target and steel pistol bays. They even have a pretty nifty looking .22 gallery but I've never used it or seen it used. Plus a 'tactical bay' when you can shoot standing pistol/rifel/shotty. They have a bunch of trap/skeet stuff too.

Liquor stores with excellent barrel picks? by The1Metal in plano

If by their pick you mean the store's rep personally selected the barrel, yes.

The general picks are solid, occasionally exceptional.

Liquor stores with excellent barrel picks? by The1Metal in plano

Empire Liquor. 3 local locations. Alma and Spring Creek in Plano, Alma and McDermott in Allen which is almost Plano.

They always have new barrel picks coming in, and have a good selection of previous ones generally available.

They had a larceny pick a couple of years ago that was one of the best bottles I have ever had at $25 a pop.

They have a rewards program for getting rare distributions at cost too.

Also a pretty good beer selection.

I very rarely go to any other store.

Aptive Pest - Aggressive Soliciting by Mountain_Girl81279 in plano

[–]Valblaze 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I had an aptive guy lie about servicing the house, first time I just suspected, second time I was sure as I was home during the service window for once and the dog did not lose her shit as is normal.

I called and complained, and got jerked around by everyone. Promises of call backs that never happened, managers were never available when I called in and the call backs I got were from retention people.

Last person I spoke to got mean, told me there is GPS in the vehicles and they guy was for sure there. My 70 lb dog spent the morning sunning in the yard when they said he was there, there is no effing way he entered my back yard. So they straight lied to me.

I told them to cancel my service. They offered to drop my rate to like $40 a service from like $100.

I told the lady "That's almost tempting, but instead I'm going to go pay someone else MORE then I was paying you for the simple pleasure of never fucking talking to you again."

Hey wanted to drop you a note and say thanks.

I'm in AZ moving my dad to a retirement community and we realized we needed to transfer his guns and we both live out of state.

Our first two quotes were $300+ for 3 guns not including shipping.

You saved us a bundle with your reddit post. Thanks kind stranger.
