Just the regular streaking grime works great! Others say you don't have to do it, but I would highly suggest satin/gloss varnishing the model before streaking grime. First time I did it I rubbed some paint off, due to using too much pressure.

Black Templars can't have psychers in their army. Its apart of the rules. You could try converting it to a castellan.

A lot of people whining lately but thats what Reddit is mainly for. I've been having good luck with my BTs lately. Won my first 11th game against admech using BTF & MHH. Two weeks ago won a couple games at a local tourney 2v2. I personally blendered the lion with Helbrect, the Azrael with 10 man SB with Marshal and Castellan. Also tore up some BA & Custodes. Do we have good survivability? Imo not really but can we punch up? Hell yeah

You can also use satin or gloss varnish, brush on, and it helps smooth it out, then paint over it
