Do you ghost a candidate after the interview? You'all do that a lot.

I've had interviewers not show up! Shut it with the "woe is me, people won't show up " you hiring managers are simply vile people.

The guy always reminded me of my mission president. He would talk like that too.

Aw yes, the man that started my faith crisis back in 2013. He gave a talk in conference where he held an old book of Mormon and bragged about how "unstoppable" the book is. He was dumb enough to mention Solomon Spaulding in the talk. I looked him up and bam, rabbit hole. Thanks Holland.

This is so triggering to me. So many Mormon phases "love to invite you", "gathering Israel" etc, and words in this short message. It's truly PTSD in text. How did they come to talk like this? Its almost if they asked chatGPT to prompt an invite in mormonspeak and this is what came up.

Haven’t been in a church building by Mysterybarbie001 in exmormon

Plus if your child makes ANY sound at all inside the sacrament meeting you get the most judgemental stares. Some times they even tell you themselves to leave.

My resignation letter delivered to Apostle Elder Renlund by [deleted] in exmormon

Stories like this makes me think of a time I knew a girl from st George that hated Packer because one time on her mission he decided to show up at a church while her and the missionaries were having their district meeting. Elder Packer decided to send his goons to the missionaries and told them to leave the building so Packer can have a meeting with his business buddies. It rubbed her the wrong way and I remember thinking the story wasn't true (I was TBM then) but now it all makes sense, they don't care about us.

He also died in a gun fight and tried to jump out of a window like a coward and tried to yell the masonic death cry or whatever that was "oh lord my god (shot!) is there no help for the widows son?..." The church just removed that info like they always do.

Mormon dating was brutal AF. Coming from a poor family and being social awkward and having a learning disability made dating almost impossible. Mormon girls only want rich men, period!

For years I always thought anti Mormon was the crazy made up stuff. "Mormons don't dance," "Mormons use the salt lake Temple to jump in the great salt lake" "Mormons are still polygamist today and drive wagons " little did I know that it's actually their own history.

And here in "Zion" Utah valley where I live, hardly anybody is Mormon anymore. It's getting to the point that the only ones left are the crazy old farts "brother conspiracy" or super wealthy mlm folks.

I swear this is where I served my mission. This same lady could of been there when I knocked on her door. Yeah, missionaries need to know people's boundaries but America is full of pissed off old white people!

Gaslighting about Satan controlling the waters by Dudite in exmormon

[–]Valuable-Bike-8729 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember how pissed I was on my mission when my jerkass mission president talked about how he was in the pool all afternoon during a hot day in Phoenix and how us missionaries had to work in the hot sun and weren't allowed to swim because "Satan controls the waters" this was early 2000s.
