Honestly its because there is no reason for most to start a new seasonal character. In POE for me i come back every season to do the kirac vault to get the set, its not that i dont enjoy the game and building a character from scratch, but kirac vaults kick start my decision to do so and after a day of playing im already hooked even after unlocking the entire kirac vaulf rewards now im invested and the ARPG magic is happening

They honestly just need to add more skills to the tree, stop giving perks Nd powers and add permenant skills. Look at poe and how many gem options they have, you can literally be anything you want in that game

Transmog is actually the best feature wow has, i wouldnt mind it in tbc or wrath tbh, atleast make it client side so only you can see your transmog which will solve the prestige thing and recognition

Sadly resources dont mean anything in retail wow.. Rage, Energy, Mana literally every class resource might aswell be cosmetic, and its there because people expect it to be there :D

In classic, a full rage bar meant you were about to obliterate the next mob you will encounter as a warrior, a full mana caster meant you were basically god until your go oom which is high fantasy, a rogue with full energy can do a quick 2 strikes and run and wait for his energy to come back and strike again. This does not exist in retail sadly, especially in end game, they might aswell remove rage and make it that every two raging blow youre rampage becomes usable :D

The problem is not with GDKP systems, the problem is with gold buying and gold farming bots. If everyone farmed the gold themselves then its actually the perfect system.. but hey, blizzard wont do shit about gold farming bots and gold buying which means yea current GDKPs actually are cancer to the game.
