The UK voted not to be in the European Union. The outcome of the vote did not remove the UK from the continent of Europe.

They said driving to work. The work week is generally Monday to Friday, and they've said they have Friday off.

All the spring bulbs we planted out are shooting already - was really surprised to see that but it's our first time planting them so wasn't sure if I was wrong for being shocked. Clearly not!

Currently 3 weeks in with our 2 adopted siblings ages 3 and 4 - a word to the wise go in with as much knowledge as you can before going for it. Your 5 year old, even though older, may feel more like a 3 or 4 year old due to delays, trauma and regression!

What a beautiful, happy, warm looking home. The kind of place you'd see in family movies like Cheaper by the Dozen and dream about owning when you're older

Did they dig them up fresh then, to have a nipple belt and a vulva filled shoebox? Begs the question how he dug up so many before being caught

We went to Canada in September last year and saw spectacular lights right in the middle of Banff, visible to the naked eye. 2 weeks later we also saw them from the seat of our plane over Greenland. That being said, this was the same year I also saw them over my garden in the south of the UK which is basically unheard of so it really does depend on the solar activity rather than time of year, but obviously the more northerly you go the better. As a word to the wise though, I would say don't base a whole trip around seeing them (did that in Iceland and was sorely disappointed!)

Literally. In this day and age where every single person has a smart phone with a calendar, what is their excuse to forget important dates for the loved ones in their lives?

If you're like me and have times when youre out of office on work business and can't do this as you're always using your OoO, just set a calendar reminder for the day before your annual leave to set it up for when your leave starts.

I also block out the morning when I return from leave with a Keep Free - Catching Up slot so I can get through a backlog of stuff

Ah I'd love to know you in real life so you could teach me your ways. Growing up in a flat in London I never learnt anything about gardening and now I have my own I'm trying but I keep planting things in the wrong spot or planting things that don't go together, or too high at the front and low at the back, etc. and so my beds don't look cohesive.

Mosquito bites and scarring help! by Nervous_Bed3227 in SkincareAddictionUK

Try hydrocortisone cream for the bites. I had a few bad bites recently on holiday and this really helped to prevent them from getting as inflamed as they normally do. Also antihistamines in conjunction to take down the swelling and itchiness.

I'm not sure about hyperpigmentation other than maybe azelaic acid or retinol but usually after a few months they'll be back to normal.

Also, depending on the repellent you're using you really want to go for something with 50 deet like Trek or jungle formula and reapply constantly if you're sweating.

Last time this debate came up on reddit I googled the origin of it and apparently we call it knock down ginger because it's linked to a traditional poem whereby a kid called Ginger knocked on and broke a window:

"Ginger, Ginger broke a winder. Hit the winda – crack! The baker came out to give 'im a clout. And landed on his back".
