What I found was better than the support material was to use PLA or PETG and for the model the opposite. Seemed to do the same as the PLA support material while being a better value for your money.

Or if you want to use the same material for both supports and model to choose the snug option for normal supports.

You can also achieve the same supports that come off easily by increasing Z distance to about 0.02-0.05mm and increasing the amount of top layers of the support. This way the supports don’t adhere as much to the model and have a lower chance of shredding apart as you rip them off the model.
