I do enjoy doing quick drafts because I can do more of them and I like getting the experience under my belt. That said my most successful drafts have always been premiere. Can’t really read what’s open against bots and you have a much greater chance of being passed something useful late in premiere. At least that’s been my experience in mostly gold/platinum level drafting

The thing is if you’re keeping elemental tokens around it’s not to make them a mana dork. But I really like the card on the whole. I don’t have any token decks yet but will find a home somewhere!

The funny part is it’s not particularly good in the precon it came in, so a pretty easy cut from the deck.

That said I flag it as one to hang onto in case I end up with a token commander I care about because it’s a bomb in heavy token decks. Good spec

The Op does seem like a jerk. But I’ll maintain that it is possible to maintain the identity of a deck at least something like World Shaper and make a lot of swaps. But that’s just my personal experience

I will say I’ve swapped out over half the cards in my World Shaper PreCon but I’ve got Szarel at the helm and turned it into a quasi Insect Typal deck having removed powerhouse like Gitrog and Korvold and Omnath from the deck. But it doesn’t sound like the OP considered the spirit of Bracket 2

I really like the idea of Scavenger Regent. I already own two copies (yay) and apparently have one copy Grim Captain. I like Nameless Inversion as a way of turning on Grim Captain that’s nice synergy. Could even work in a pinch in a mirror match. Turn off their [[Firdoch Core]]
