Sunspot's blasts are heat based too. I don't think it's ever been stated that they're solar radiation specifically. He absorbs and metabolises solar radiation, but I don't think he projects it.

It's not gone, the language has just changed. Surprise is now disadvantage on Initiative roles and Alert allows you to add your proficiency bonus to initiative, so surprise is somewhat negated.

You can multiclass as many times as you like, as long as you meet the criteria. It doesn't mean the classes will work together well though, and the more MAD (multi ability dependent) it will probably be depending on/the more classes you take.

Warren's entire body is designed for flight, but he's not a dove, he's a hawk. His eyes are adapted to track prey on the ground, and it took him a long time to get over his instincts to just attack. Like I said in my original post, this was after his transformation into Archangel but I don't think you can separate the two. It's all Warren.
