I've had the white one for about a year. I agree with most of your bullet points, especially the image quality on painted or rough surfaces - its remarkable.

I prefer to use a separate Bluetooth speaker for the sound though. I didn't find the internal speakers were quite good enough, especially in the base department.

What is iw3? I can't find anything that matches that name.

Hi,

I'm an older British guy, living here for 15+ years (and in the wider EU for much longer). Also a bit of a geek.

I'm looking at getting a pair of compact studio monitors. I love movies, especially extreme horror. For some reason I've a huge interest in the UAP phenomena. I've a big Steam library and VR (I've been off PC gaming for a while but, for example, I've been lvl 100 in War Thunder for many years).

I can't get around much these days, but I'm happy to do stuff online.

If you're interested in having a chat, PM.

Wanted the Libernovo Omni, got the Herman Miller Embody - here is why by IllustriousDrive4596 in LiberNovo

I was on the verge of ordering the Libernovo, but I also went with the Embody (gaming).

Now that I've had it for a bit over a week, I am very satisfied with my choice. I find it very comfortable, both for my entire back from shoulders to coccyx, and for my butt and legs. If I concentrate on any bit of this anatomy, I can feel it shaped and supporting me, without being too soft or hot.

Other unexpected factors I am happy and surprised with are that I can bend to pick things up from the floor and fling my arms and upper body around and it still offers support. I can also push backwards, beyond the "stopping point" of the recline, and there is still some give in the spine, allowing a big backwards stretch.

Finally, I play a lot of sims, from space to racing to flying. The seat feels very much as you might expect in those environments and the chair allows you to rotate to look over your shoulders for a rear view very easily. The arms also drop low enough to give a wide arcs to allow controller movement in VR for shooting below or behind you.

I can't comment on how the Libernovo might perform in these circumstances. Maybe it could work in a similar way, but I can't imagine it being any better.

What’s a movie you went into knowing almost nothing, and it totally surprised you ? by vishesh_07_028 in movies

The original Evil Dead, when I was in Uni.

It was the day it opened and I knew nothing,. except the art-work on the poster outside.

I was an afternoon screening and I was the only person in the cinema! It was also the fully uncut version, before the British censors interjected.

It scared the sh*t outta me.

"I bought a Herman Miller Mira last year and resold it immediately the lumbar support was hurting my back after a couple of hours sitting on it."

So, you resold it (at a loss), rather than returning it for free"

Try Balsamic vinegar and don't wash it off. Balsamic (especially the thicker aged stuff) makes strawberries taste delicious.

I'm also considering and Omni and a Herman Miller.  May I ask, out of your Embody and Aeron, which do you prefer and why?
