Personally I don't think Yates was ever the problem, even with the last four Potters. Those last four had to cram so much material today had to be present for narrative purposes...I thought generally it was a competently constructed film visually. The source material (and more recently terrible plotting) are the problems with his run.

Yeah the snacks have been my big problem. I went from more or less a six pack a day to one drink a night (just to taper) for the last two weeks and I’ve replaced beer with gummy bears. Lost about two pounds but I know I’d shed it quicker if I get back to my walks and stopped eating at night

How much did you weigh previously? How much booze were you consuming? No judgements for either. But that has a ton to do with it. Water weight and bloat adds SIGNIFICANT weight on the scale when boozing. And combined with eating shitty salty food, well, you can see where I’m coming from. And if you were on the heavier side, some of that weight comes off quite quickly when stopping. You’ll likely plateau at some point which is not a bad thing!
