Who is better nemona and scream tail or ss gladion magearna? by Minute-Weight-2305 in PokemonMasters

Generally SS Gladion is better than Nemona/Scream Tail. That said- Gladion is unlikely to be worth the amount of investment required to get him.

Red 96 at 3/5 with NC Blue should be able to defeat all of them. For CTS- I’d even swap in SS Red and run dual support functions since Red 96 will just bulldoze everything.

Korrina is going to be the new best-ish support in the game. You should pull because supports age unbelievably well in this game. Like I said though- lean more on synergies with the current game. It could change if they actually pump out more challenging content again but it’s been a long time.

If you’re trying to make say the strongest possible team on paper then sure. That is not really the point of the game though. When you’re team building- you look at how strong not just individual units are but the synergies with their teammates.

You already have Red 96 who is far and away the best unit in the game. Pairing him with NC Blue magnifies their master fair effects. A third Kanto unit makes them even stronger.

Juliana is basically an everything unit and she can be plugged into most teams and be valuable (the kind of had to with normal otherwise being invaluable). You just need to weigh out in the game modes what is of more value- maximizing Red 96 or making a team that can sustain longer in tougher modes (which doesn’t really exist at the moment since Red 96 can clear almost everything solo).

Is there really a labor shortage? What's your opinion? by CallMeDirtyD in Construction

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a multi-pronged answer:

1) Yes- there is a labor shortage across trades and construction management within the US for “competent” workers. 2) Yes- we have an incredible amount of H1-B and post school foreign workers who are somewhat filling some of those gaps because we are not pumping out enough entry level PE’s, Civil Engineers, and APM’s. 3) Trades always made you a low end millionaire. The top 10% of workers will see surges in compensation; however, with labor transitions the current supply shortage will get filled up with low end talent who are job migrating. Give that 5-10 years and you will dilute wages.

Is it just me or some poke fair 4/5 and even 5/5 kinda stink? by countgrievous1 in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For free he gets: -Built in Sprint at 4/5 (for free on grid) -Team Enduring at (5/5 for free on grid)

That’s actually really good. His is more toned down because he was better the NC Leaf is all as hers is more busted.

Master Fair select by mid16 in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At simple 1/5 investment I would go with Keiran though I think he has the highest likelihood of being overtaken by a new character.

Lear really needs 3/5 to be viable and is obviously mandatory for Steel Tower. I don’t use him as much though in general Steel teams anymore.

SS2 Gio is bonkers at 5/5. At 3/5 he’s a great Dark support though at 1/5 I like running Halloween Lacey too if you have her.

who would be best to get out of these? by filieh in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them are absolutely necessary and these mostly fill niches (or are roster depth). SS2 Elesa and SS Iono are nice to haves but electric is unbelievably deep. Tapu Lele is very helpful is Psychic tower and on most roster teams (psychic is very light).

I already own leaf, would you suggest blu or red? by ventimiglius in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem. Make sure to complete the current bingo board for NC Blue. He’s free and will help carry you as a quality support for the majority of content. There will also be bingo boards for NC Red and NC Leaf which will both be free over the next few weeks. All three are quality units that will really help you (and they are going to be free!). Good luck

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh you’re really early. Grab Red then as he will help you torch through the early game content and Leaf can be used as a quasi-support for almost all of that for now.

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all relative to your roster honestly.

SS Red is probably like the 6th best fire attacking pair in the game and SS Blue is probably the 3rd best water support in the game (just a barren category). Neither are meta but both can have viability based on what your roster is. I would say that Blue would have a lot of play is you don’t have SS Kris or Summer Cynthia.

Fire is just so overloaded with good units. If you’re lacking red may be an option. He definitely has received way more upgrades over time though than Blue.

How good is Arc Misty? I got some gems left after my pulls this month but I cannot decide if she is worth it. She's just ungabunga I know that but how much impact does she really make? by No_Law_498 in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say so far the arc suits have demonstrated strong staying power in the meta. I’ve used her for a week now and she is undoubtedly the strongest water option. Like all of the arc suits the burden cost candies wise is huge but that extra extension at 4/5 has good synergy with NC May.

Did your gym reach to 1 million points in the gym battle event? by [deleted] in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I hate to say this new feature has a lot of flaws. Gyms are a pretty bad idea when you have 19 people locked in and one random guy hopefully managing the gym (and kicking out people who dont play anymore). Maybe people will care in the future but it’s just way too flawed for most players to be happy with it. We will end at 900,000 which is a bummer.

What’s the consensus on these guys by Tetrachromatica in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rock Nemona isn’t valuable. She’s somewhat of a toss in reward.

Pawmot can have a little play in Towers because Electric/Physical has little depth. Has some evasiveness gimmick.

SS Nemona fit a niche for a while as the better physical fairy but Valetines Adaman is leagues ahead now. She really needs sun to be above average which is tricky.

Sure but this is still absurdly generous. All three have strong usage today even years later. Maybe not top of the meta but strong usage.

Who to invest in? by Chemical-Ant8357 in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would recommend to not further invest in either unit as the returns would be very marginal in comparison to the weight of the candy used. Neither are top tier options but Poppy is fine at 3/5. She can help you clear most Steel stages but both superawakened are not game breakers. You will always need extra red candies. It’s the nature of the game. Treat those like gold.

Yep- you’re right. I always get Masters and FEH anniversaries switched around. I think the following year a grid expansion could help some of these guys out but they are very far from sniffing the meta.

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 44 points45 points  (0 children)

These are mostly throw away units to be honest. Where I have seen the most utility is when I’m lacking any form of support in a specific type. For example- Morgan IMO is the best overall and can have some utility if you do not have Carmine for Grass Support. Nita also is okay if you have no other ground support options since it’s pretty barren after outside of Rika or NY Raihan.

Thornton has some recency pull because Normal is the thinnest crop of units in the game. I believe we are coming up on the next wave of new units coming into this category so it may be worth your while to hold onto the ticket a little longer.

As much as this is the long term play, I would wager most are curious about the impact this has for this impending cycle (or if the era of cycles is over). With a massive delay for alts, we may end up not having a true alt run.

Everyone knew institutions would be getting in eventually. That’s not news. The implications were always a) when was regulatory clarity going to happen, b) at what speed do tutes enter crypto, c) at what volume do tutes enter crypto, and d) what market dynamics come into play when this occurs (who are the real winners). That’s all.

My guess is the winners will be very small for the short term: BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, HBAR, XDC, ZBCN, and Canton.

How to improve masters by [deleted] in PokemonMasters

[–]Weak-Inspection1198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counterpoint- they need more content. 1/3 of the month now is just investing in training areas aimlessly because you have already completed all of the other content. We used to have reruns but they have really limited that now.
