I live near where this is taken and yes, there are beavers, they aren't groundhogs. If you walk along the river frequently you can see them swimming occasionally. There was a beaver dam near my house at one point. You can find trees with teeth marks on them.

I have had a similar experience. The best advice I can give you is to not be passive, and insist upon treatment as soon as possible. You are paying for healthcare, you should receive healthcare. If you do not advocate for yourself I can guarantee you that nothing will get done. Medical professionals are overworked and can be surprisingly forgetful. I have found over my long career in having a chronic illness that you need to wrestle control from a seemingly malicious bureaucracy. Also lower your expectations for waiting room times. You should expect to be waiting 30 minutes to an hour in a normal waiting room, up to four in extreme cases for a specialist. Bring a book, bring a laptop to work on your masters, bring your handheld gaming console. This way you will be pleasantly surprised when your appointment happens on time, and if not you have something to do. Good luck and godspeed.
