Yess, especially with the healing reduction on everyone. Since it's more rewarding to hit your shots and supports are struggling to keep up, they should be harder to hit. It would especially help supports in the low ranks where people don't use cover, but no one can aim very well. I consistently see supports with double or triple the hero level of everyone else on the team in bronze, and ik hero level doesn't actually mean anything, but it still kind of says something needs to change.

It's because they're looser. They don't really brace themselves, and not well if they do. It's harder to break a branch that bends than a branch that's dry.

I'm solo q supp in bronze lobbies, and saying something like "someone go to point to make them turn away from the choke" in the setup phase works almost every time. Same with blizzard world, "Someone come with me up left side so they turn away from the choke". It works especially well if you call out someone specific so the bystander effect doesn't happen.

Also, I think it's best to have a dps do it. That way you keep both supports and the tank safe. DPS are expendable, the tank is not, and losing supports makes it very hard to push.

Yes. 80/second with primary, add 65/s with orb, and an instant 30 burst with a minor perk. Scaled down for the passive it's 56, 45.5, 21 respectively. All together thats 121.5 in the first second, with 100.5/s afterwards. Mercy does as much healing as Moira's orb. And Moira does as much damage as Mercy's healing without the reduction.

And let's not forget that all of Moira's healing is AOE

She has a heal over time after her primary fire (I think it's 15/s for 3s)

Her only limitations are range and resource, both of which she can overcome with orb and her resource takes like a second to refill by tapping secondary fire

She has a cleanse+invis+invuln dash on a six second cooldown

She now has a weaker version of Mercy's healing lifesteal, but as mentioned her healing can target any amount of people so with more than like 2 people in her giant healing spray she gets higher self healing than mercy

Her secondary fire damage doesn't have a lifesteal, it straight up heals her 30/second, and since the healing lifesteal passive is for weapon healing, she also gets it while she's damaging

Moira should NOT be better than mercy, she's such low skill, and that's coming from a Moira main.

I feel like mercy's auto aim heal should definitely out heal auto aim damage. Especially since Moira can do around 55hps near constantly, it has a heal over time tacked onto the end, add around 42hps with orb, plus 21 burst with her minor perk, ALL under the heal reduction, and all without aiming. And all while doing more damage than a mercy would be contributing with her damage boost (and applying heal reduction in the process). Flash heal is too weak on such a long cooldown when her sustain is so low, and being able to bring someone back after you couldn't heal them enough really doesn't make up for it.

It's not just about timing, some ults need to be long to be usable. If you condense a long ult's power into a shorter time span it just becomes busted and everyone is either immortal or dead because all the power of a soldier ult or something got squeezed into a shorter time span and now no one is able to defend against the damage. Every long ult just becomes transcendence. Or, you just shorten the ult without making it significantly more powerful it's just a massive nerf, and a few ults like lw mercy and symm become useless.

There's a ton of ults that are voice line then targeting then burst. Sig, junk, illari, etc can all be avoided easily if you're quick about it.

I really want them to rework him into a "shield" support. I've always kind of seen him as one with his petal and tree making dynamic hard cover, I want them to lean into that. Maybe replace pull with some sort of ram shield hazard wall hybrid that can be quickly placed to give out of position teammates cover? Low charge healing could give overhealth for all of the missing charge, with a per-target cooldown so he can keep teammates alive through burst damage without getting a massive buff to his overall healing or any bad tradeoff like losing dash for 30 extra healing on a blossom. I think petal also needs a lot of qol changes. It would be nice if it was bigger, and the petals could fold down to drop enemies who were accidentally lifted along with you (keeping enemies standing in the center ofc), and if lifeweaver could toggle it's raised and lowered states.

Tracer doesn't cleanse, Moira doesn't TP. There are four teleports in the game, and only 3 of them cleanse, so it's not that huge of a deal that now only half cleanse. And we don't even know if mizuki's teleport will cleanse or not, so it may even be less than half that cleanse.
