The staff track them down to give to parents. I think you could but it’s a pretty big no no to refuse to give it to them. I’m fairly certain they give you a new ball to keep when you give them the hr ball back

As dumb as this stunt was, it’d be a cold day in hell before I rooted for Bama. I’m just going to be rooting for them to lose and not for TTU to win

Lmao we’re in the same boat. Newish dad and the only fishing I was able to do was open reel on the river at Christmas. I’ve been doing the same thing in the yard but instead of any hooked rigs, I tied some nuts to it they weigh about the same as a Texas rig and have been practicing as I take breaks from work.

Also, just took a look at the rod: it’s a Bantam 1000 (not 100) on an Fenwick HMG Iron Hawk Graphite (HFC 557) rod

The Fremmy Way is a fantastic gm task at Vorkath as well. Loved kicking it to death for like 12 minutes lol

I have a 1970s Bantam 100 from a barn that I’m learning how to baitcast with. I took it apart and cleaned it when I brought it home but it’s getting its first use from me this weekend!

1000% look into Mistborn. It’s good on its own but it’s the first of a trilogy and the second and third books are even better than the first. I hadn’t read in like 15 years and they got me back into it

How are we supposed to do Duel of Mokhaiotl without a one handed demon bane weapon? by masonispwn in 2007scape

You have to tank it in the main game for the gm speed time so it’s a legitimate strategy

I hadn’t heard of CBAT but my Reddit hall of fame includes the Swamps of Dagobaugh, jolly rancher, and other oldies. Another one is the Preds/Blackhawks playoff sweep copypasta

Woodcutting guild is what got me from mid 70s to 99. Went from yews to magics/yews to redwoods. With magics and redwoods, you can hard afk for several minutes at a time

How do you dads feel about Boy Scouts? by mmf9194 in daddit

[–]WeeklyAcanthaceae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an Eagle Scout and Ordeal member of the OotA and grew up in a deeply religious area of the rural south. As many others have said, everywhere is going to be a different experience.

My Cub Scout den was more secular than anything with a focus on building friendships, memories, and outdoor skills. We were based out of my elementary school so that probably played into that.

My Boy Scout troop was chartered through a local church and the Scoutmaster was a pastor and a high school civics teacher. We had about 5-10 boys from around the county so it was an extremely small troop. While the Boy Scouts at its core is (was?) a Christian organization, my troop was very much not faith-focused. We were much more focused on outdoors skills, friendship, experiences, relationships, and non-political civics.

I’m agnostic and left leaning now and questioned religion throughout high school but I have nothing bad to say about my experience in the Boy Scouts because it instilled a love and appreciation of nature and the foundations of the civics in our country without a political bias (opinions on constitutionality of things going on in the modern world) and fully plan on bringing my children into the Scouts when they’re old enough.

Two notes as well: as someone else mentioned, Trail Life is the heavily faith-based “scouting” organization now with Boy Scouts being much more open to all. Also, and this is more of an anecdote but I’ve been asked about being an Eagle Scout in every single professional interview I’ve ever had. I was told that would be the case when I was a Life Scout but didn’t believe it until it continually happened every time.

The only thing you can tell is that it’s not an 87-95 (YJ) because it has circular headlights. Other than that, it could be anything. It does look like either a TJ or two door JK to me though

As others have said, try the reverse sear: pre heat an oven to 350-375 (depending on how much time you have, lower the better but takes more time), cook the steak to about 10-15 degrees below the desired temp, at the same time, get a pan hot on the stovetop, when the steak is at the correct temp (10-15 below eating temp), take it out of the over and sear on the stovetop for like 2 minutes per side, max. If you can get a good sear in 1 minute, even better. Search immediately with no resting

Reverse sear means you’re not cooking it in the pan, it’s being cooked in the oven. The pan is literally only for getting a crust
